DDB Contracting has just completed the first phase of an interior lab and office fit-up for Siemens Energy, a global leader in energy technology.
The 60,000-square-foot high-security building, located in Raleigh, NC, is one of Siemens Energy’s newest United States facilities, advancing the company’s mission to support businesses and nations navigating their transition to a more sustainable future.
Over the course of 26 weeks, the 30,000-square-foot Phase 1 buildout was successfully delivered, with 15,000 square feet transformed into a sleek office space and another 15,000 square feet developed into a specialized electrical equipment testing lab. The project involved stringent electrical and mechanical specifications and requirements and additionally necessitated the installation of an atypical fire suppression system designed to protect sensitive electrical equipment.
“We’re proud to have played a role in constructing a facility that supports the mission to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make energy more reliable, affordable, and sustainable,” said Eric Albanese, CEO of DDB Contracting. “This marks our second collaboration with Siemens Energy, and we’re excited to continue fostering this valued relationship.”
As Siemens Energy continues to expand its United States footprint, DDB Contracting is proud to support their growth through innovative, high-performance construction solutions.
