DDB Contracting has completed Phase 2 of the office and commercial lab fit-out for Siemens Energy in Raleigh, NC.
Phase 2 builds on the momentum of Phase 1, advancing one of the company’s newest U.S. facilities. It provides the specialized spaces needed to support Siemens Energy’s mission of accelerating the global transition to sustainable energy.
Phase 2 of the office and commercial lab fit-out encompassed the remaining 30,000 square feet of the 60,000-square-foot high-security facility. The scope included modern office space, state-of-the-art electrical testing labs, and collaborative workspaces. The project required strict adherence to detailed electrical and mechanical specifications. DDB Contracting additionally expanded the specialized fire suppression system established in Phase 1 to safeguard sensitive equipment.
“We built something in Phase 1 that earned Siemens Energy’s trust, and Phase 2 gave us the opportunity to see that vision all the way through,” said Eddie Albanese, SVP West DDB Contracting. “Not every contractor gets that call back. We’re glad we did.”
With the full 60,000-square-foot facility now operational, Siemens Energy holds a strong position to continue expanding its U.S. presence and advancing cutting-edge energy technologies. DDB Contracting remains dedicated to delivering high-performance construction solutions that help clients achieve their goals efficiently, safely, and sustainably.
