DDB Contracting Wins Historic Jersey City Beekman Renovation
DDB Contracting, based in Newton, NJ, has recently won the contract to renovate the historic 75 Montgomery Street building in the heart of Jersey City. The building, originally constructed in 1906, carries significant historical value. The Beekman Estate, a privately held corporation with deep historical roots, owns the property. The Beekman Estate manages a broad portfolio of commercial properties across Manhattan, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Westchester County and is managed by the heirs of Wilhelmus Beekman, one of New York’s original settlers who immigrated to the United States in the 17th century.

The 75 Montgomery Street building, built in 1906, is currently used as a commercial office space. DDB Contracting will focus on upgrading and modernizing the building’s common area lobby as part of the renovation. Simultaneously, the team will preserve the building’s historic character while modernizing key areas for enhanced comfort and design. DDB plans to complete the project by early July and is committed to delivering the work on time while maintaining its high standards of quality.
