DDB Contracting has completed the renovation of a 30,000-square-foot office and laboratory facility for MTF Biologics in Edison, NJ. The project modernizes and enhances a critical workspace for the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to tissue transplantation.
Completed on behalf of Newmark, the renovation transformed the existing space into a functional, high-performance environment designed to support both administrative operations and specialized laboratory activities. The upgraded facility integrates modern office areas alongside advanced lab spaces, ensuring the infrastructure required for MTF Biologics’ ongoing work in tissue transplantation and medical innovation.
The project required careful coordination to meet the technical demands of a medical and laboratory environment while maintaining efficiency throughout the renovation process. From updated building systems to specialized laboratory considerations, the work was executed to support the safety, reliability, and operational needs essential to biomedical research and processing.
“Projects like this demonstrate the impact that thoughtfully executed construction can have on organizations advancing critical medical work,” said Edward Albanese, SVP of DDB Contracting. “We’re proud to deliver a facility that supports MTF Biologics’ mission and the important role they play in improving and saving lives through tissue transplantation.”
As organizations in the life sciences and healthcare sectors continue to expand and modernize their facilities, DDB Contracting remains committed to delivering high-quality construction solutions that support innovation, research, and medical advancement.
