Sparta, NJ May 13th, 2019—DDB Contracting, of Newton, NJ attended Project Self Sufficiency’s 23rd annual a Taste of Talent Fundraiser event at Perona Farms.
A Taste of Talent supports Project Self Sufficiency’s many community outreach programs, while showcasing a variety of fresh local cuisine and musical talents. The event featured over 50 local restaurants as guests were invited to taste small plates from each vendor. Also featured was a silent auction, raffle, and cooking demonstration by chef Andre deWaal of Andres Lakeside Dining in Sparta, NJ.
Project Self Sufficiency is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting community members with career and family guidance. These programs include childcare, medical services, resume management, skill building classes, and a food pantry for individuals in Sussex, Warren, and Hunterdon Counties. The organization’s local chapter is located in Newton, NJ.
“Its was a privilege to be able to attend such as beautiful event in support of an organization that continues to provide so much for lower income families in our local community” says Deserae Albanese, marketing coordinator at DDB Contracting.
